The Making of Metal Symphony - The Deabreu Commission

This is an assemblage made of wood and metal objects. 83" wide by 71" long. A very interesting piece to make and I enjoyed it very much!

The initial and most exciting stage because it is the creative part, deciding the composition and what goes where.

All the wood has been treated chemically and with staining to make it look rustic and awesome! next it wa sealed for it to last a very long time.

The most difficult stage is building the frame for it to hold all that weight. We are talking about wood plus heavy metal gears.

After a lot of gluing, hammering and drilling voila! Here it is in all it's splendor.
